Images from this portfolio, taken in California, have been syndicated across the world. The journey starts with new cars arriving at San Pedro harbour to wealth and sybaritic style such as that of the Art Deco Society (of California), through Americana and hot rod culture to drag racers and on to lowriders. and eventually poverty and the junk yard. However, the greater the poverty and the greater the need in any given community, the greater the presence of the Christ. Furthermore, the final image, from an East LA wedding ends the series on a positive note.
